NOTE: A Polish caricaturist and mime artist, Eddie Vitch came to the United States, and, in 1931, he approached Robert H. Cobb, owner of the Brown Derby restaurant in Hollywood, who allowed him to draw caricatures of the famous people who dined there. Soon, Vitch had drawn hundreds of images of Hollywood stars and the Brown Derby became famous for the caricatures that filled its walls. This opened the door to Eddie Vitch into the world of entertainment. In Charlie Chan in Paris, we see Eddie Vitch’s handiwork as Max Corday’s sketch of Charlie Chan.
