Rush: I have to say, the last thing I fear is the disease.
tenman: In OHio, I expect to be furloughed through May; I work in a LARGE restaurant
Rush: I fear the reaction to it more than it.

hounder: i’m hoping for cautious baby steps. i know many want to leap forward, but i worry about a second wave worse than the first one.

Matt1: I can’t imagine Tenman….hang in there and hope for sooner
Rush: We try to support our local restaurants lately by taking out.
hounder: but a large restaurant will have an easier time with spacing tables than a small one won’t they?
hounder: I’ve been trying to do take out when i venture out….. which is admittedly a rare occurance
Rush: Yes, Hounder, but the trouble will be that they, too, will of necessity serve smaller gatherings.

Matt1: We haven’t eaten out in 6 weeks
Rush: We have just done the “take-out” routine.
Mike n Rachel in DC: Probably, hounder. But as soon as someone gets the virus when they go out to eat everyone will stay home and restaurants will be back to square one. If we mess up this reopening, it will be much harder to get things opened a second time. I hope folks know what they’re doing.
Rush: Chinese food last night.
hounder: i think i’ve done take out 2x, but have only been out 4x in 2 months
Rush: We usually don’t eat out much, but recently we’ve been doing more to help the locals.
Mike n Rachel in DC: We normally cook at home (lamb tonight!), so it hasn’t been much different here.
hounder: i totally agree matt. just heard my county in nc has their first case…… and they did a total lockdown.

hounder: we don’t usually eat out, but i’ve been trying to support local when i have another reason to be out.
