The following is a letter written on July 29, 2002 by Kay Linaker (Kate Phillips), who had billed roles in four Charlie Chan movies. In her reply to a birthday message from Virginia Johnson, fan of both the actress and of Charlie Chan, Miss Linaker, who appeared in Charlie Chan at Treasure Island in the unbilled role of a séance apparition, verifies the fact that it was Gerald Mohr, also unbilled, who played and was the voice of Dr. Zodiac in the same film.
